While the list above highlights our most popular amenities, you’ll find dozens of thoughtful extras throughout the home to make your visit effortless and memorable. Whether you're here for beach days, bike rides, or simply slowing down, we’ve thought of the little things so you don’t have to.

We’re so excited to host you and want to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Please review and follow the house rules below to help keep The Flying Turtle a welcoming space for all our guests:

✅ General Guidelines

• Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Maximum occupancy: 8 guests
• Minimum renter age: 21
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (please respect our neighbors)

🐾 Pets

• Up to 2 well-behaved dogs allowed with prior approval and paid pet fee
• Pets must be crated when unattended and kept off furniture and bedding
• Please clean up after your pets and dispose of waste properly

🛺 Golf Cart Use

• Guests must be 25+ with a valid driver's license to operate the golf cart
• Golf cart must remain on St. Simons Island and follow all local laws
• Return the cart with a full tank of gas
• Do not drive on beaches, sidewalks, or bike paths

🚭 Smoking & Vaping

• Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home
• Outdoor smoking is allowed if disposed of properly and away from entryways

🔥 Grilling & Outdoor Use

• Please use the Weber propane grill responsibly and turn off the tank after use
• No open flames, fireworks, or bonfires allowed on the property

🧼 Cleaning & Trash

• Please wash any dishes used and place trash in outdoor bins before checkout
• Let us know if anything breaks or needs attention — we understand accidents happen!

 💲 Fees

Cleaning fee: $150 per stay

Pet fee: $50 per pet per stay per stay (up to 2 well-behaved dogs allowed with prior approval)

Security deposit hold for direct bookings only: $300 held on the guest's card 2 days before arrival, released 2 days after departure (no charge unless damage or violation occurs). Please note some financial institutions may take 5-10 business days to show refund. 

Golf cart use: Included in your stay of 5 nights or more, or optional add on flat fee of $150 for stays 4 nights or less.  

Taxes: Local and state taxes are applied as required by Glynn County and the State of Georgia.
